Hey hey hey!!!
How are you doing my lovely friend and what book are you busy devouring this week??
Since I had so much going on in my life I decided instead of starting a new series that would demand my undivided interest and attention.. because that is how I get as a reader! I need to know what is going to happen next so I end up putting other things on hold and squeezing in the few minutes I have here and there to read a few pages.
I picked up an old favourite that I had been wanting to re-read for a while. The choice was tough between Fallen, City of Bones and Vampire Academy. I went with the shorter reading commitment *tee hee*.

* What it's about *
There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.
Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story.
* My thoughts *
A love destined across time. Fallen is my original favourite angelic love story.
I decided a re-read was in order, so that I could focus on a few other things in my life and just enjoy hanging out with the characters again. This was not the case... I flew through this book again. It was like being reacquainted with an old friend.
Even though it wasn't as mind blasting as the first time I read it (which was 6 years ago), I still loved Luce, Daniel and the crew all over again.
My favourite character, other than Daniel, is 100% Arriane. She is like the chilli spice of the story - adds so much flavour and is totally badass in a goooooood way.
Cam Cam Cam... I have such a soft spot for him. Wounded souls love too.
What can I say, Ms Kate, I love this Fallen world.

I read this one when it first released but never read any of the others. I should re-read and then work my way through the series for I am curious. :)
